Well I’ve been quiet for a while. But plenty has happened.
- I won a tie design competition and I will be flying out to Tallahassee this week to see it worn by a few hundred people at a conference. I’m pretty excited about that.
- I’m the owner of a brand new Wii. My brother and I split the cost of the machine and the new Smash Brothers Brawl. Playing online against Cory has been a blast.
- Celebrations. I’ve been out and about with some of my classmates celebrating birthdays at bowling alleys, bars, and a few clubs. Now I know why I’m broke.
- I designed my graduation show website. Go on over to mu-dai.com for details on the event. You’re all invited to come mix and mingle with food, drink, and art.
- I hung out with Nat for an evening while she was in town last week. It’s always a fun time when we get together.
- I’d say about 4 more friends of mine are getting married. This leaves me with about 2.6 friends left to hang out with.
- I’m starting to listen to opera. So far I’ve acquired a Pavarotti 2-disc set and I’m enjoying it.
- I’m going to submit to another few design competitions.
I can’t seem to remember anything else at the moment.

The Wii is totally fun. I haven’t even looked into Mario Kart, but I will as soon as I finish this here comment.

Anyhoo, glad to hear you’ve gotten into opera. I’m going to see Carmina Burana. Not exactly an opera, per se, but its people singing loudly and dramatically in a foreign language, which makes it opera-esque to me.

I wanted to surprise you and show up at your (and Veronica’s) opening tonight, but I couldn’t find parking and it was already 8:20 pm when I made it! (I had to go to the Jam@MAM first to say hi to some old co-workers. =/)
Anyways, as has been mentioned before, congrats on all your success and I hope your opening went well! Too bad I couldn’t make it. Grrr!
