Drawing Text

Keep Your Head On Straight, Young Man

Here’s my first of hopefully many sketches with text. I’ve decided to focus my body of work on typography, addressing the topics that concern me. I’m really excited about this new direction. My work will ultimately be, I believe, on scratchboard. But for now I will work with different materials to see if there are better ways to communicate through my artwork. The image above is an experimentation with text forming imagery.
