Leap of Faith

Well I did it. I took the plunge. Everything seems so clear now. Life is one beautiful aqua-button after another now. My brother is in no small danger of converting, too. I spent my entire evening yesterday playing with the video conferencing feature on iChat. Below are a few screen shots of my friends chatting it up with me. Old friends reunited, and new potential friendships were made as well. Ever played Hide-And-Seek on iChat? We have. It’s pretty entertaining.

Now I’ve got to install some of the cool programs I use at work. And I need to find someone to buy my old PC parts, including 2 monitors. I’ll post the specs later.

Late Nights

It’s been an active week at work. I’ve been staying late into the night with the other animators to work on some big projects. I can’t really complain, we’ve had fun doing it, even though staring intently at a screen for 12 hours can do some strange things to ya. There are a lot of highs and lows throughout the night. As illustrated above, at any point throughout the week you can either find me laughing hysterically or dazed in a zombie-like trance. I’ll take this over homework any day.

Is anybody else considering buying the new iMac? It is a thing of beauty.

Oh, and I got my tooth pulled on Wednesday. It was quick and painless. My co-workers tell me it’s not very noticeable, my missing tooth. I wonder why they keep staring at my mouth though. Is it something I said?

Things Fall Apart

It’s been a crazy few days for me. Things are breaking all around me. Two weeks ago my car’s compressor died. Last Monday my iPod stopped working. Two days later I got a call from my brother telling me my home computer was fried due to a lightning strike nearby.

I responded to the car thing by borrowing Tony’s ride until my dad was able to replace the compressor. The other 2 possessions are still dead. A small inconvenience, but no biggie. Lately I’ve become a bit more stoic about the things I own. I’ll be losing one more thing in two days: a tooth. The dentist will be yanking one of my lower front teeth to create some space now that I have braces. I just hope I don’t end up sounding like those people who whistle while they says words starting in the letter S, like Dan Rather or Beaver from Winnie The Pooh.

Anyways… here’s a collection of faces I drew while at the doctor’s office.

Blogathon Interview

Here’s the Blogathon interview I mentioned in an earlier post, which was created by my friend Yuen. Notice my bleary eyes and how long it takes me to answer simple questions. That’s what staying awake for 24 hours in front of a computer screen will do to ya. Enjoy!

Heredi

What’s more fun than a sketch of Heredes? Multiple sketches of Heredes! Here are 2 original ones that I made but wasn’t satisfied with. I thought I’d show these off anyway. What do ya think?
