Fortunately it did not require a pulpotomy, although I would have loved to get rid of the pain a lot quicker. Essentially the orthodontist filed down my tooth a bit and 'added' to my bite on the other side to even out my bite. Now when I chew, the bad tooth isn't the first one to make contact, which was the reason for my pain. It was like poking a scab over and over and over. Wow, I've said a mouthful. Thanks for asking!
