I’m not at liberty to discuss the project I’m currently working on. I will, however, be posting it soon after it is complete. I hope nobody gets too antsy about this. When the time is right, I’ll post it.
In case you haven’t noticed, my web cam has been on the fritz all night long. I’ve literally had to restart it probably about 25 times. That’s just a guesstimate. Back to work I go! How’s everyone else holding up?

This one is for Mom. She is the one person I thank God for every day. She’s managed to raise up two goofy sons with love and affection beyond her means. This is not to take away from what Dad has provided for us. But a mother’s love is definitely special. Tony and I adore her and all that she’s done for us. I know in hindsight that what we sometimes believed was natural was in fact selflessness on her part. All too often we hear about mothers leaving their kids or abusing them or other unspeakable things. Such is
not the case with us.
I don’t know that my Mom will even read this post, but it’s something that I wanted to share nonetheless. Besides, I already tell her I love her every day I see her. Moms like that kinda stuff. They deserve it.
I’m working on a sketch that I’m really enjoying. It’s a sketch of someone who holds a huge place in my heart. I don’t want to reveal too many details. I’d rather just keep drawing it and have it ready in half an hour. You know, drawing has definitely kept me awake through this whole event. I love this stuff!
A big shout out to the people visiting from outside of Florida. I don’t know your names, so drop a comment while you’re here so we can get better acquainted. My name is David. What’s yours?

When Nat and I discussed professional massages earlier, this is how I told her it basically went. So Nat, enjoy.

Here’s another old sketch. This one is a lot looser and it’s the way I typically draw. I don’t know what it is about cross-hatching that I love so much, but I’m definitely drawn to it. Pun intended. Thank you, everyone.
I have some unexpected guests. Tony, Enrique, and Hector just dropped by on their way home from Studio A. DJ Craze was on the wheels of steel tonight in downtown Miami and the boys had to go. It seems that I’m missing out on all the cool events tonight, including the Simpsons Movie which opened earlier today. I guess I really mean yesterday since it’s technically Sunday now. Only a few more hours to go.
Remember that nasty pizza I mentioned? Well the guys are eating it up, despite my warnings. The only thing left to do is press “9-1” on the phone and the moment I hear someone vomit I’ll press the remaining “1”. Nothing a little stomach pump and I.V. can’t fix.

This little sketch combo is from an older sketchbook. I did this drawing at a Barnes and Noble, while flipping through a magazine. I remember being intrigued by the horse’s expression. A few moments later I saw the other character which had the identical expression. Small world, thought I.
And then as I pondered even more I found myself asking, “What’s with the stupid hat on that guy?” What a mysterious universe we live in.
