#35 - Paul

This is Paul, the smooth Italian salesman. As of about 3 weeks ago, Paul became a local celebrity of sorts when he was interviewed by local tv stations. Apparently, the plane Paul was flying on survived the closest call in airline history. The TV station kept showing Paul lighting up a cigar and laughing with friends. We teased him about it for a few days but we were extra happy that his life was spared. This sketch is in honor of that. I’m glad you’re safe, Paul. Welcome home.

    Great story – I’m glad he’s okay!

I’ve been enjoying your portraits today – either your friends are the happiest people on earth, or you just have a knack for capturing the inner joy in people.

Be brave, stay awake, and congrats on the radio interview.

That Paul. But when you think about it, his flight ended up in smoke anyway.

I love this one! You really have portrayed (oh- oh, been around David the Elder too long!!) Paul’s expression perfectly! And all the others as well. Come on, draw Maximum Damage and David the Elder too!

Sorry-had to get in my 5 hours- but I’m back with you now! Hang in there!

By the way, I’ve been printing everything out for Maximum Damage to see right along! He’s very proud…
