This sketch is for David The Elder, who frequently posts little puns for comments on my site. He asked me to do a sketch of his sister’s cat. He neglected to tell me the name, but he did leave this description: “This cat likes to follow around and see what’s going on. She typically jumps up on Judi’s lap when Judi is at the keyboard and will place two paws on the keyboard.”
I thought it was funny that he requested that I sketch a cat, since that’s exactly what Nat is doing for her Blogathon theme. So in honor of that, I’m posting the original along with the sketch, Wilson-style.
Edit: The cat’s name is Maggie.

I guess the first part of my e-mail didn’t make it through. It read:
I’d like a sketch of my sister Judi’s cat. Here are three pictures of
Maggie, which is a “Maine Coon” cat:

How are ya doing? Still feeling energized?

Yea I’m doing well. Hanging in there. Thanks for checking up on me.
Maggie’s owner says thanks! At the moment she is in her summertime resting position, which means sprawled out on top of her 5-foot cat tree. I understand from David the Elder that this blogathon might leave you similarly sprawled out come 6 a.m.
Hahahahahahahaha!
I suspect it will be in the same sprawled position only several feet lower – like the floor.
