It’ll be another 48 hours before I’m on my flight to Brazil. I can’t even express in words how excited I am. Oh wait, yes I can. I’M FREAKIN’ EXCITED. My flight leaves at 11:00am on Thursday and it will last 8 hours. What ever shall I do to kill the time? There’s plenty. I’ll read a book, write a journal entry, take a picture of some Brazilians sitting next to me, play hide and seek with some kids on the plane, watch a movie on the screen in front of me, listen to some podcasts, read a second book, eat lunch, eat dinner, eat a snack, eat a second snack, strike up a conversation with a stranger, shoot some spitballs, ask the flight attendant “are we there yet?”, stand at the front of the plane and do some stand-up comedy, share some Chuck Norris jokes with the audience, record some video, and maybe I’ll even take a few naps. That should cover the first hour of my flight. As for the rest of the flight I have no idea what to do.
I’ll probably just be bored out of my mind.
Tonight, however, I will be watching Bloc Party perform live at Revolution. Two nights ago I had the honor of seeing Further Seems Forever on their final tour. And tomorrow night I will experience the Tooth & Nail Tour.

No way, Jose! Thanks for the love. I’ll remember the Chuck Norris jokes. The only challenge is to translate the jokes to portuguese. And to begin explaining the legend that is Chuck Norris.
As far as the liquid thing goes, I’ve already planned ahead. I’ve got the aisle seat. Hopefully I’ll find an empty row to sit in so I can sit and stand in peace.
