It’s amazing how time flies. I meant to write this post 4 days ago and it totally passed me. Hope nobody’s been waiting. ::Nervous laugh::
As I mentioned in my last post, there’s a reason why I cannot and will not eat pizza for a while. It’s nothing against pizzas in general, I don’t hate them or anything. In fact some of my best friends are pizzas. It’s just that they’re so good but so fattening! And fat is a No-No for the next few weeks. Here’s the thing: I have made an oath to get healthy and fit in the next 12 weeks with some of my buddies. Actually it’s more than an oath, it’s a competition and you know how I like to win!
So here’s my gameplan. Work out everyday day and rest on the 7th day. Eat six healthy meals a day, small portions of course, and avoid junk foods and sodas. Water is the way to go. My meals consist of a protein source, a carbohydrate source, and a vegetable or two. It’s not one of these dramatic “chicken and pineapple” diets or the ever infamous “popcorn diet”. That stuff will probably kill ya. No, I am embarking on the road of healthy eating and living. This road is long and hard but I’ve already written out my goals and my deadline and I’ve got people cheering me on. So come the final week of October I should be the healtiest dude in the world! Or at least in my… room.
As far as my workouts I will most likely restrict it to insane aerobic workouts inside and outside of my gym/dojo. I know my coach knows some sick routines of sit-ups, push-ups, lunges, shadow-boxing, squats and many more excercises that will push my body to the limit. Ideally I would be doing some weight-training as well but we don’t have many dumbbells here at the house. No worries, I’ll find a way.
Three cheers for health!
