Holy Moly, I’m Addicted

Well it’s been a month since I’ve written here. As you can imagine, many things have happened, nothing too boring, nothing too exciting. At least I can’t remember if this is so. Here’s the thing, I wanna get back in the groove of writing, so I’m going to make an attempt to write at least 3 times a week. I’ve been delaying many things for a long time: A logo, a website redesign, a business card, some new material and some new gigs.

So what’s new? I recently got cable in my room and it’s been difficult not to watch a slew of reality shows. They’re not the type of reality shows where they put 20 people in a maze of deception and lust and backstabbing. Instead they’re shows about interesting jobs. A hairstylist, a bounty hunter, a sitcom writer, a tattoo shop. I can’t decide what I want to be now. Alls I know is that God gave me a gift with art and comedy. There’s gotta be more inspiration and work pouring out of me. I’m slackin’, man. Time to get excited again and make some eyebrows raise. Now about a tattoo… don’t know when and where and why. But I’m thinking about it more and more. Sighhh. Young and foolish, I know. Before I even consider getting one, I’ll have to get back in shape. Good art on a bad body does it no justice.

One thing I’ve heard about tattoo’s is this: People put art on their bodies that they would never dare put on their walls. Very true. Unless your wall is made out of human arms. Then maybe people would have more skulls on fire on their walls. Whatever it is I may be interested in putting on my body, it’ll be something that provokes conversation. But even that can get old. I tend to lean more towards buying thought-provoking t-shirts than a tattoo. That way I can take it off whenever I want and put on another cool looking one. Woohoo, I’m a genius.

Well I think I just talked myself out of a tattoo. That was quick. I’d better run now, Situation: Comedy is on!

I want a tattoo! lol… I’m constantly being talked out of it by my mom, Yannick, Steph, ElyMarie…etc. But I’m gonna do it! Oh yes. Mark my words…....maybe..

Anywho, it’s about time you posted something..geez..I’ve been waiting to get a dose of sketchism for quite some time.

By the way, I’m addicted to Laguna Beach…it can’t get any worse than that…

actually, after reading this post, i have an idearrrrr. i have been looking for “my” right tattoo for the last year and half. been in and out of many shops, but have decided that i don’t want someone’s etcha-sketch premade stencil on my body.

i thought about it, real hard…and i would be honored if you came up with the sketch and design for my tat. im so serious. i like your work, a hard feat from someone as picky as myself. and from the type of work that you have done, and from what i’ve known about you since before you had facial hair, i know i can trust you. let me know if you are up to it.
