Sketchism

I’m heading out to West Palm Beach in a few hours to perform at a church along with the band Anonymous. It’s been a while since I did stand-up comedy so I fear I’ll be rusty. The drive is supposed to take about an hour and I’ll be riding solo in my dad’s car which has no cd player. This means I’ll be forced to listen to all these clear channel stations with a million commercials. Maybe for once I’ll ride with no music on and actually rehearse my jokes. Speaking of Clear Channel, last night I won tickets to the Jessica Simpson concert here in Miami when I checked out the Y100 booth at the annual Cancer Relay for Life. The lady from Y100 seemed eager to get rid of them so she just asked a basic question about the station and I answered correctly. Bam, two lawn tickets to the concert. I, of course, having no interest in crappy pop music by Jessica Simpson just gave the tickets to a friend. The relay was super fun though. Got to walk around the track with friends and just come up with stupid ideas for jokes. Plus we got on the stage dance floor and skanked while a couple was dancing salsa. I think everyone got angry at me for that, but the night went on. Well I’d better take a shower and stuff for tonight. Peace.
