Sketchism

After I wake from my hour-long slumber, I proceed to check my email and catch up on the lives of the other bloggers. By this point my mom or dad is already home, cooking up something pleasant for dinner. I’m very hungry now. Walk to the fridge, grab a small snack, drink water, chill in the room some more. I should do my homework at this point, but I decide to do some more online scavenging. After a bit of this, I walk my dog and feed him. Eventually I prepare my clothes and equipment for my martial arts class and head out after eating dinner with my parents. My class gets pretty intensive sometimes. We do kicking drills, punching drills, kneeing drills, and of course wrestling drills. By the end of class I’m dripping with sweat.

After an hour and a half of this I get back in the car, turn on the headlights, and drive home with the window down as the cool breeze massages my face. Once home, I drink some Gatorade, take a shower, begin my homework, prepare my clothes and food for the following day, and once in a while I’ll stay awake long enough for Letterman. This is where I get my update on the news of the world, believe it or not. I only stay awake for the jokes and not for the interviews. I don’t watch much tv, except for Sunday nights(Simpsons).

Before I go to sleep, I review the prayer requests and praises of the week and once I’ve looked over everything, I turn off my lamp, squeeze my pillow, and sleep to the sound of my own breathing.
