Well I performed on Thursday and Friday night. Thursday’s was a little rough, I forgot some of my lines. But it’s a good thing I had my list of jokes in my pocket otherwise it could have gotten REALLY embarrassing. It was a good crowd though, and I still got positive feedback after my act. Friday’s was much better. I knew my material well, practiced it sufficiently, and performed it well. It’s painful to look at the video. I’m my worst critic. But I must’ve done a good job because 2 kids asked for an autograph. That was pretty fun. Actually here’s how the first kid asked me for it:
Kid: Hey, can I get your autograph?
Me: You really want it?
Kid: Yeah!
Me: Well sure.
Kid: Wait, you ever been on TV?
Me: Nope.
Kid: Oh in that case nevermind.
Me: [I’m cracking up at this point] Whoa that was pretty funny.
Kid: Actually, can I have it anyways?
Me: Sure. There ya go.
I’ll probably never forget that. The little kid’s name was David too, and he was wearing a red shirt like mine. Too too funny.
